Posted on Leave a commentPosted in episodes

We sit down this week with the wonderful Sam Varela. She is a podcast nerd and accomplished comedy producer and our first fan girl guest! Sam also shares how being overweight affects the way doctors treat you and diagnose you and the horrible scare tactics that are used. We talk the stigmas and misconceptions surrounding weight gain and the importance of advocating for ourselves.

We also talk the pains of migraines and Andy shares what it was like to have migraines as a child on Halloween and how it was so bad she wasn’t able to go trick-or-treating.
